Purchase and terms of classes

When you enrol your child at Scane Dance, there is a £25 one-off joining fee.

This fee is payable when your child first joins Scane Dance and helps us with the administration and setup involved in welcoming a new dancer to our school.

Please note: The £25 joining fee is a one-off payment and is not charged again while your child remains enrolled with us.

We know that choosing a new activity for your child is a big decision, so we want you to have the opportunity to experience Scane Dance before committing to enrolment.

Our trial classes are completely free of charge, giving your child the chance to meet their teacher, experience the class and see how much they enjoy it.

Each dancer is welcome to trial one class in each dance style. This means that if your child is interested in more than one style, they can experience each one before deciding which classes are right for them.

If your chosen class is currently full, don't worry! We'll add your details to our waiting list and contact you as soon as a space becomes available for a trial.

Following the trial class, you'll have 7 days to decide whether you'd like your child to become part of the Scane Dance family. Simply let us know your decision by email.

There’s no pressure to decide straight away — we want you and your child to feel confident that Scane Dance is the right fit for them.

Any absences are at your discretion and will not be refunded. We highly recommend 100% attendance to gain the best out of the dance training we offer, through our pre-planned annual learning outcomes.

If you/ your child are to miss a class, please inform the school prior to the lesson via email scanedance@gmail.com or phone (call/text) 07906 230607.

Although nobody likes goodbyes, we accept not all dance styles are for everyone. Should you wish to cancel a class or leave Scane Dance you must inform the school before the 1st of the next new month by written confirmation via email: scanedance@gmail.com 

Please note that once an invoiced has been issued on the 1st it will still need to be paid in full.
