I began dancing at the age of 2 and have loved dancing ever since!
As a student I studied multiple styles of dance and have taken numerous dance exams with the BBO and IDTA. I have performed in many theatres and have choreographed several dance shows and community displays.
I attended a Performing Arts College where I gained a UAL Diploma in Performing and Production Arts with Distinction. Following this I continued my studies with the British Ballet Organisation where I achieved Distinctions for both my Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Dance Teaching, I am a qualified IDTA dance teacher in Freestyle and Theatre Crafts, as well as being a certified Acrotrix teacher.
I am also fully trained in Emergency First Aid and hold NSCPP Safeguarding and Enhanced DBS Certificates.
I have experience teaching all ages and have taught hundreds of students in Cheshire and Staffordshire at multiple Primary Schools and Private Dance Schools. In June 2021 I made the decision to open my own Dance School in Biddulph and since then we have opened our doors to hundreds of students.
Dancing has always been a passion of mine and I wish to encourage this love in our students.

With a lifelong passion for dance, I began training at the age of 2 in a variety of styles including Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and Jazz. Over the years this passion has continued to grow and has shaped both my training and career.
I went on to study Dance at The Arden School of Theatre, where I had the opportunity to perform in a range of inspiring settings. These included performances at Manchester Cathedral, The Jewel Box Theatre, and site-specific work at Whitworth Art Gallery, all of which helped to shape me as a performer and artist.
Since graduating, I have been teaching dance and have developed a strong passion for it. Alongside teaching at Scane Dance I also teach Ballet at another local studio. I am particularly passionate about creating a supportive and positive environment where students can build confidence, develop their technique, and enjoy their dance training!
Alongside teaching I continue to train regularly in Manchester and remain involved in performance opportunities, including performing at the Lowry.
I believe it is important to keep learning and growing as a dancer and I love bringing that ongoing experience into my teaching.

Miss Chloe started dancing at the age of 7 doing Hip-Hop and Street dance. Early on in her training she gained a scholarship that provided her with the opportunity to train in all different styles including Commercial, Jazz, Acro, Heels, Contemporary, Lyrical and many more. This allowed her to not only develop her skills as a dancer but also as an artist. Along the way she delved into the Freestyle battle scene where she secured multiple Freestyle championship titles. Following her scholarship, she joined a dance associate company which allowed her to train with international choreographers within the industry.
At 16 she took the opportunity to progress her training and attended Shockout Arts in Manchester, where she trained with multiple industry professionals and came out with a top grade. After her time at Shockout Miss Chloe wanted to push her career into teaching full time and now works to inspire other individuals in their future dance career and to discover their own unique voices.
I began dancing at the age of two at my local dance school, where I took numerous exams in many disciplines as well as earning three scholarships with the BBO, Graham Fletcher, and MIDAS. During this time, I also had the opportunity to perform twice with the English Youth Ballet at Buxton Opera House.
After finishing my G.C.S.E.s, I went on to vocational training, studying at Ballet West in Scotland and later at Kate Simmons. I achieved a H.N.C. in Professional Dance Performance as well as a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Dance. During my training I was also performed in numerous ballets and theatres across Scotland and the Midlands.
I am trained in a wide range of styles including Ballet, Pas De Deux, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Spanish, Street, Commercial, Heels, and Musical Theatre.
I hold teaching qualifications, including an IDTA Level 4 Diploma in Dance and an ISTD Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (Cecchetti Classical Ballet). I have taught in numerous primary schools, delivering dance curriculum lessons and running fun and engaging holiday clubs.
As a professional dancer, I worked as a Show Captain and choreographer at Alton Towers, where I performed in events such as Scarefest, Oktoberfest, Summer of Fun 2023 and I was also a main stage dancer in the Fireworks Spectacular - The Phalanx Expo in 2024. In addition to this I featured in TV adverts and social media campaigns promoting the resort.
More recently I have worked for Haven as a production cast dancer, performing up to eight shows a week and taking on multiple roles in a full pantomime. I am currently training to be both a Pilates and Fitness Instructor.

Miss Sophie teaches alongside our teachers and has been assisting our students in their weekly dance classes for many years now. She is a huge part of our Friday evenings and Saturday mornings at the studio. She has experience in many dance styles and has taken multiple dance exams with BBO and IDTA.
