At Scane Dance, we provide high-quality dance training for children and young people aged 3–18 years, following the BBO and IDTA syllabuses.
Whether your child is taking their first steps in dance or looking to develop their skills further, we offer classes to suit a wide range of ages, abilities and interests.

At Scane Dance, we provide high-quality dance training for children and young people aged 3–18 years, following the BBO and IDTA syllabuses.
Whether your child is taking their first steps in dance or looking to develop their skills further, we offer classes to suit a wide range of ages, abilities and interests.
Our classes include Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Freestyle, Street, Acro, Cheerleading and Musical Theatre, giving our dancers the opportunity to explore a variety of styles, develop strong technique and discover the styles they enjoy most.

Once your child has completed a trial class, and you wish for them to continue please complete our student enrolment form. Your child will then be enrolled onto the class(es) they trialled, and our membership fee (£25) and fees for the class(es) for the remainder of month will be applied to your first invoice. You will then receive our Welcome Pack by email and a Scane Dance T-Shirt of your choice!
Scane Dance operates a monthly fee-paying structure for all classes. Classes run for 44 weeks of the year and are split equally over the full 12 months. All fees must be paid in full on the 1st of each month by standing order or bank transfer. You will receive an invoice on the day your payment is due.

Invoices are sent for the full month and fees are non refundable.
If a class is missed our students have the option to attend an extra class of their choice. Any absences are at your discretion and will not be refunded. We highly recommend 100% attendance to gain the best out of the dance and acro training we offer, through our pre-planned annual learning outcomes. If your child is to miss a class, please inform the dance school prior to the lesson via phone (call/text 07906 230607) or email (scanedance@gmail.com).
Yes, absolutely. You can bring your child along to any of our classes for a free trial, subject to availability. To book a trial please complete our trial booking form, you will then receive an email confirming your trial.
Yes, your child can join as many classes as they wish and to create ‘well rounded’ dancers, this is something we strongly encourage. Having lots of styles and strengths will only give your child more opportunities within Scane Dance.
Yes, uniform is compulsory for all students and must be worn to class every week.
On enrolment and once payment of membership has been received students will receive a Scane Dance T-shirt in a colour of their choice (white, grey or black). Students wear their Scane Dance T-shirts for exams and performances.
Once students have been enrolled at Scane Dance for a month we ask that they purchase the correct uniform for their class if they have not done so already.
All uniform can be purchased through Scane Dance. Please find uniform order forms on the notice board in our waiting room or download from our uniform order page. Once this form has been completed please return back to your class teacher/ email to scanedance@gmail.com for your order to be processed.
We try our best to get all uniform orders to you within 1-2 weeks once your form has been handed in. If your order is delayed further than this time period we will be in touch with you asap.
